2. Transportation from one (1) euro for the bus and about six (6) euros for the train to Nice. A taxi in Monaco costs about 10-12 euros for travel within the Principality.

In general, a salary of around 5000 euros / month (tax free) ensures a basic standard of living. Although car insurance, parking, etc. expenses may be cheaper even than in Greece, the truth is that some extra money is needed for the resident of the Principality to enjoy the benefits of the place.
