The Hellenic Community of Monaco organized this summer, a trip to the magnificent island of Hydra, in Greece.

We would like to share a few moments with you and wish to see you all next year!

Message from Mr. George Koukoudakis (center in picture), Mayor of Hydra:

“From yesterday’s visit (10/07/2020) of 25 representatives of the Hellenic Community of Monaco

in our Hydra. We thank the President of this Community, Mrs. Sofia Vaharis Tsouvelekakis and the Honorary Consul of Greece in the Principality of Monaco Mr. Petros Mahas for

their love for Hydra and their help regarding several issues.

In the context of the celebrations of the 200th anniversary from the beginning of the Greek

Revolution, we agreed the organization of events both in Hydra and Monaco, regarding the great

contribution of our Island to our National Liberation Struggle.

It is also worth noting that, at the entrance of our City Hall, was hosted a small exhibition of

paintings about Hydra, created by Greek children from Monaco.

Last January, upon invitation, I presented Hydra as a tourist destination to the

Members of the Greek Community”
