MONACO ENERGY BOAT CHALLENGE 2023: CONGRATULATIONS TO THE GREEK TEAM “OCEANOS”
Secured the 2nd place in the General Rankings The student engineering team Oceanos from the School of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, representing the National Technical University of Athens and their country, Greece, in the international competition Monaco Energy Boat Challenge 2023, secured the 2nd place in the General Rankings, and the 1st place in the Slalom and Championship races. To successfully compete the team designed an electric racing boat, developing in-house the energy storage (lithium battery pack), the power transmission systems (electric motor coupled with an outboard pod) as well as the propulsive equipment (design and printing of 3D propellers).
