Every summer, Monaco becomes the place to be with the Monte-Carlo Sporting Summer Festival. Organized under the aegis of the Casino de Monte-Carlo, it perfectly illustrates the ambition of this legendary place: to offer entertainment and thrills to visitors from all over the world for unforgettable Monte-Carlo-style moments. ΝΑΙ, ΜΠΟΡΟΥΜΕ Πριν μια βδομάδα, πέθανε, “πλήρης ημερών”, ένας ιδιαίτερος πρόσφυγας. Γεννήθηκε το 1921, εγγονός δολοφονημένου παππού και καταδικασμένου σε θάνατο πατέρα. Μωρό, μόλις 18 μηνών, κρυμμένος σε ένα καφάσι από φρούτα, πήρε το δρόμο της εξορίας και της ξενιτιάς, με τους, πάμπτωχους πια, γονείς και τις αδελφές του. THE DRACHMA OF 1832 BICENTENNIAL EDITION!
Collector’s item, limited & numbered. Exposition at the headquarters of the Hellenic Community. By virtue of King Otto’s Royal Decree of 8 February 1833, the drachma replaced the phoenix and, in August 1833, public revenue offices were explicitly prohibited from accepting Ottoman currency. As stipulated in the same decree, the drachma was to be issued in gold, silver and copper.
