Κάθε χρόνο το Μουσείο προσφέρει ένα πλούσιο κύκλο πολιτιστικών προγραμμάτων με σεμινάρια, διαλέξεις και εργαστήρια για ενήλικες και οικογένειες. Η ονομασία ΣΠΕΔΟΣ προέρχεται από έναν αρχαίο κυκλαδικό οικισμό της εποχής της Χαλκοκρατίας (3200 – 1200 π.Χ.). Το όνομα υιοθετήθηκε για την περιγραφή των ετησίων πολιτιστικών προγραμμάτων που υλοποιεί στους χώρους του το ΜΚΗΛ. Ο κύκλος σεμιναρίων του Μουσείου καλεί καταξιωμένους Έλληνες καλλιτέχνες να μας μυήσουν στην τέχνη τους. Ο συγκεκριμένος κύκλος διαθέτει μια πλούσια επιλογή θεμάτων, τεχνών και τεχνικών και προσφέρει στους συμμετέχοντες ερεθίσματα, προτρέποντάς τους να πειραματιστούν και να αντλήσουν νέα έμπνευση.
