PAINTING COMPETITION FOR CHILDREN AGED 6 TO 16
The 1 st Painting Contest for Kids (of age 6-16) was organized by the Hellenic Community of Monaco in cooperation with Greek school of Monaco-Nice-Cannes. The contest scored over 30 participants from kids of all ages!!

Dear members,
The main objective of the Hellenic Community of Monaco is the organization of cultural events that aim to educate young people and to move adults about the traditions, history, arts but also the beauties of our country!
As part of our actions for 2019, we are delighted to announce an initiative concerning children:
PAINTING COMPETITION FOR CHILDREN AGED 6 TO 16
The Hellenic Community of Monaco, in collaboration with the Nice-Cannes-Monaco Hellenic School and under the auspices of the Hellenic Orthodox Community and the Saint-Spyridon Church, is organizing a painting competition open to children aged 6 to 16 on the theme:
“ GREEK ISLANDS – HISTORY AND TRADITION ”.
All children aged 6 to 16 who live in the wider Nice – Cannes – Monaco region can participate in the competition.
We are delighted to welcome all children who would like to participate with their creations. There will be two categories/groups for participation: (a) children aged 6-11 and (b) children aged 12-16.
Among the valid entries, the top three rankings (in each age category) will be awarded 3 prizes, including a family trip to Greece.
1st Prize
More specifically, the first winner in each age category will win a two-night stay for him/her and his/her family, for the months of September or October, in a 5-star hotel, sponsored by the MITSIS HOTELS group:
- ALILA RESORT & SPA, Faliraki, Rhodes.
- BLUE DOMES RESORT & SPA, Kardamaina, Kos.
2nd & 3rd Prize
The second and third winners will win a work of art (MyHydra Concept Store, Hydra, Greece) and an art photograph (Yellow Korner, Monte Carlo, Monaco)
In order to nominate the best works, a special committee composed of 3 members – friends of the Hellenic Community, from the artistic and cultural community, will be set up.
All works will be presented during a special event/exhibition, which will be organized to announce the results and prizes,
June 26, 2019 , sponsored by MAX FIDUCIAIRE – Multi Family Office.
Painting submission dates :
June 3-10
at the headquarters of the Hellenic Community (Brooks Brothers boutique, Quai Louis II, 98000 Monaco).
NB : Original works on A3 (42 x 29.7 cm) will be considered valid and will be delivered in packaging with the indication “Painting Competition”.
