The Hellenic Community of Monaco, had the honor to be invited by the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Constantinople. The four members of the committee (Archons: P. Machas, G. Stassinopoulos, K. Tsouvelekakis, N. Hadjioannou ) had the privilege to meet  the “Green Patriarch,” Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew who has taken the lead among all religious leaders in his concern for the environment.
During their short visit, the CHM members awarded a memorable distinction to His All Holiness Patriarch Bartholomew and offered especially crafted gifts (sustainable pillow cases).

The Hellenic Community of Monaco is also grateful to His Eminence Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon, for the support and guidance given.
